Second day of the Mahila Maha Jan Sunwai
महिला महा जनसुनवाई, दिल्ली
माननीय अध्यक्षा श्रीमती विजया रहाटकर ने दिल्ली विश्वविद्यालय की दो छात्राओं को उनके शिक्षा एवं खेलों में उत्तम प्रदर्शन हेतू पारितोषिक पुरस्कार दिया। इस अवसर पर दिल्ली की माननीय मुख्यमंत्री श्रीमती रेखा गुप्ता ने दोनों छात्राओं को सम्मानित किया एवं उन्हें आगे बढ़ने की नयी प्रेरणा दी।
NCW Chairperson Ms. Vijaya Rahatkar announced the launch of Jagriti—a fortnightly chronicle featuring women-centric stories, legal updates, and key developments.
At the inaugural Mahila Maha Jan Sunwai, NCW Chairperson Ms. Vijaya Rahatkar reaffirmed NCW’s commitment to women’s justice: “Our goal is zero pendency in complaint resolution by year-end. Over the next 5 days, NCW will hear 250–300 cases daily—ensuring every voice is heard.”
The National Commission for Women has taken urgent cognizance of a harrowing letter from the widows of Shri Haragobindo Das and Shri Chandan Das—victims of recent religion-based violence in Murshidabad, West Bengal.
