The functioning of women police stations and the status of registered cases related to women were reviewed.
A review meeting was held by Smt. Vajaya Rahatkar, Honourable Chairperson of National Commission for Women, with the district officials of the four districts of Chitrakoot division – Banda, Chitrakoot, Mahoba and Hamirpur.

A review meeting was held regarding the effective implementation of Prevention of Sexual Harassment at Workplace (PoSH) Act in the new Collectorate building of Chitrakoot under the chairmanship of Hon’ble Chairperson of National Commission for Women, Smt. Vijaya Rahatkar.
Addressed more than 500 girl students at Jagadguru Rambhadracharya Divyang Rajya Vishwavidyalaya located at Chitrakoot Dham. In the awareness session organized on the topic of cyber security and prevention of sexual harassment at workplace (PoSH), important dialogue took place on digital security, dignity and rights of women.
Mahila Jansunwai was held in Durgapur, West Bengal on April 16, chaired by NCW Member Smt. Archana Majumdar.

After my three-day visit to Murshidabad, Malda riot areas, I met West Bengal Governor Shri C.V. Anand Bose at Raj Bhavan in Kolkata .
Hon’ble NCV Chairperson Smt. Vijaya Rahatkar, accompanied by members of the Inquiry Committee, visited the violence-affected areas of Murshidabad.
Hon’ble Chairperson of the National Commission for Women, Smt. Vijaya Rahatkar, addressed the media before departing from Kolkata to visit violence-affected areas in Malda.
Hon’ble NCW Chairperson Smt. Vijaya Rahatkar visited Parlalpur High School, Malda to meet women affected by the exodus caused by the Murshidabad riots.
Social worker Ms. Ruma Devi ji from Rajasthan made a courtesy call on the Honorable Chairperson Mrs. Vijaya Rahatkar ji at the office of the National Commission for Women. During the courtesy call, important topics like economic empowerment of women were discussed.
The Member spoke about NHRC, India’s functioning, collaborations & activities. Chief Minister of Goa, Shri Pramod Pandurang Sawant and Chairperson, NCW, Smt Vijaya Rahatkar, were also present
After the conclusion of the capacity building and training program organized by NCW for all State Women Commissions in Ayodhya, the officials of all State Commissions visited Lord Vishwanath in Kashi and received his blessings.
Honourable Chairperson of National Commission for Women, Smt. Vijaya Rahatkar interacted with the enlightened women of the city in Ayodhya .
