Conference on “Justice for Women”, jointly organised by the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India and the National Commission for Women (NCW), was inaugurated at the Karnataka Judicial Academy, Bengaluru.
The National Commission for Women organised a POSH Training & Workshop at Sarat Sadan, Howrah, bringing together 320 participants, including members of the Local Committees from Howrah, Kolkata, Nadia, North 24 Parganas and South 24 Parganas.
The National Commission for Women addressed an Anti-Human Trafficking Awareness Programme for personnel of the BSF South Bengal Frontier, reaffirming the collective commitment to combating human trafficking.
The awareness pavilion organized by the National Commission for Women in Rishikesh is emerging as an effective center for public awareness and women’s assistance.

Addressing the ‘Nari Netritva, Unnoto Bangla’ Conclave at the Biswa Bangla Convention Centre, Hon’ble Chairperson, National Commission for Women, Smt. Vijaya Rahatkar, emphasised that women-led development is the foundation of Viksit Bharat and called for coordinated efforts to ensure every woman has access to education, healthcare, economic opportunities, safety and justice.
The National Commission for Women organised the Nari Netritva, Unnoto Bangla Women Conclave at the Biswa Bangla Convention Centre, Kolkata, under the chairpersonship of Smt. Vijaya Rahatkar, Hon’ble Chairperson, NCW, to deliberate on a roadmap for the holistic development of women in West Bengal.
