The National Commission for Women organized a National Consultation Meeting on “Rights of Muslim Women in India” today at Vigyan Bhavan, New Delhi.

On the occasion of World Day Against Human Trafficking, an awareness programme was organised by the National Commission for Women today at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi.

In the presence of Hon’ble Railway Minister Shri Ashwini Vaishnav and Hon’ble Chairperson of National Commission for Women Smt. Vijaya Rahatkar, National Commission for Women and Railway Protection Force signed an MoU to prevent human trafficking.

During the Chennai visit, I took a review meeting regarding safety measures and implementation of women centric schemes.

Chairperson NCW visited IIT Madras campus and interacted with officials/faculties regarding exploring various collaboration opportunities.

In  Chennai, I took review of Safety Measures at Anna University following Sexual Assault Case happened on December 23, 2024.

On the auspicious occasion of Shravani Mela, the National Commission for Women inaugurated a free counselling stall at Shivlok Complex, Deoghar, Jharkhand to make women aware of their rights.

Chairperson Smt. Vijaya Rahatkar met District Magistrate Mr. Dilip Swamy, Additional Police Commissioner Mr. Pankaj Atulkar and Municipal Commissioner Mr. G. Srikant in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar.

Hon’ble Chairperson Smt. Vijaya Rahatkar held a meeting with District Magistrate, Additional Police Commissioner and Municipal Commissioner at Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar .

Hon’ble Chairperson of National Commission for Women, Smt. Vijaya Rahatkar visited “Tere Mere Sapne” pre-marital dialogue centre in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Maharashtra .

Honourable Chairperson of the Commission, Smt. Vijaya Rahatkar held a review meeting with the Director General of Police of Maharashtra and other senior police officers.

Had a courtesy meeting with the popular Chief Minister of Maharashtra Shri Devendra Fadnavis ji in Mumbai

In the IDMA CARES program of Indian Drugs Manufacturers Association (IDMA) held in Mumbai, a detailed discussion was held on Prevention of Sexual Harassment at Workplaces (POSH) Act.

Honourable Chairperson Mrs. Vijaya Rahatkar participated in the Visionary Dialogue of FICCI FLO .
