Activities of Official Language Cell<\/strong><\/p>\n

  1. To ensure implementation of provisions of Official Language Act, 1963 and Official Language Rules, 1976 for promoting progressive use of Hindi in Office.<\/li>\n
  2. Compilation of quarterly progress reports from all cells of NCW and send it to Dept. of Official Language (Raajbhasha Vibhag<\/em>) of Ministry of Women and Child Development and Nagar Raajbhaasha Kaaryaanvayan Samiti (City official implementation Committee) in compliance of Official Language Act, 1963.<\/li>\n
  3. Compilation of six monthly and yearly progress reports of NCW and send it to Dept. of Official Language and Ministry of Women and Child Development and Nagar Raajbhaasha Kaaryaanvyan Samiti.<\/em><\/li>\n
  4. Preparation of assessment report of progressive use of Hindi on the basis of quarterly\/six monthly\/yearly progress reports in NCW and send it to Dept. of Official Language and Ministry of Women and Child Development and Nagar Raajbhaasha Kaaryaanvyan<\/em> Samiti<\/em>.<\/li>\n
  5. Translation of Annual report from English to Hindi.<\/li>\n
  6. Organisation of Hindi Pakhwara<\/em> and different competitions of Hindi during \u00a0pakhwara\u00a0 in the month of September to promote the progressive use of Hindi in routine daily office work.<\/li>\n
  7. Translation of matters and letters of All Cells of NCW from English to Hindi in compliance of Official Language Rules, 1976.<\/li>\n
  8. Translation of Standing committee report, Parliamentary questions-answers, background notes, concept notes, PPT\u2019s, Demi Official letters received from all cells of NCW from English to Hindi.<\/li>\n
  9. Translation of prison, custodial homes tours reports of members and Officers of NCW from English to Hindi .<\/li>\n
  10. Translation of agenda items and minutes of Commission\u2019s monthly and weekly review meeting.<\/li>\n
  11. Organising quarterly meetings of Official Language Implementation Committee.<\/li>\n
  12. Organising Hindi E-Workshops for progressive use of Hindi in Official work.<\/li>\n
  13. Preparing agenda and minutes for quarterly meetings of official Language Implementation Committee.<\/li>\n
  14. Participating in the meetings of Official Language Implementation Committee of \u00a0Ministry of Women and Child Development, Nagar Raajbhaasha Kaaryaanvayan\u00a0 Samiti<\/em> and other offices of Govt. of India.<\/li>\n
  15. Replying to letters of Parliamentary official Language Committee.<\/li>\n
  16. Replying to different letters received in Rajbhasha<\/em> Cell.<\/li>\n
  17. Translated book \u201cRape \u2013 A guide to Investigation\u201d<\/strong> written by NCW\u2019s ex-chairperson Mrs. Rekha Sharma from English to Hindi.<\/li>\n
  18. Translated \u2018Decadel Book\u2019<\/strong> of NCW from English to Hindi.<\/li>\n
  19.
